Just a little sharing. Finally, I’ve decided to convert my LR4 2011 air suspension to coil suspension. I know lots of people would disagree which I respect , but thinking of there might be folks like me thinking to do.
I bought the Terrafirma with 2” lift which you can find on lucky8. Ride quality, I do feel some difference so yes it feels more solid and definitely not as soft or smooth like the air. I don’t know if this is going to change after driving more since the kit is brand new. One thing my mechanic found that it does have some sound when in full lock, he wasn’t sure if because of the upper/lower control arms need to be replaced for handling the new setup. For now, I just avoid any full lock to reduce the stress on it.
I also hear some small knocking sound when going through uneven road, not enough to complain but just hear it.
