Thanks for the information everyone. I'm skipping the revised clamp since it seems unnecessary with the RS sliders. I went with the STD option 2 in the end and am now waiting patiently for Adam to ship them. Woohoo! :)

I'm curious to see how much the stand-off tubes stick out. I'd be hoping for about the same amount as the LR sidesteps as that would protect against door-dings.

Oh, good thought, but I just ordered the opt 2 slims. I guess Ill have to continue to park in the back of the lot ;-)

Side benefit of some decent sliders is that I can probably stop worrying about someone in the tyre shop from trying to lift the LR3 using the LR side protection bars or compressor. The ***** protection should be a nice benefit I hope. :mad:
