Hey all, I have a 2016 LR4 with a faulty parking sensor that's triggering a loud fault beep on startup. I've confirmed the car does NOT have ACC. All I need is a single CCF change to disable the parking aid system, a 10-minute job for someone with an IIDTool.

I've called a dozen shops in Seattle and none of them will do it without a full $200 diagnostic. I'm not looking for a diagnosis. I know exactly what needs to be done, I just don't have the tool.

If anyone in the Seattle/Puget Sound area has an IIDTool and would be willing to meet up, I'm happy to compensate you for your time. Beer, cash, whatever works.

Thanks!

the IID tools supports scanning for codes/etc without registering the VIN. If you want to make changes, you have to register the VIN to the tool you are going to use. I don't know if you can migrate the registration between tools, but if you're looking to edit the CCF you'll need to buy a VIN license.

If you buy a dongle you could use SDD for free (what IID reverse-engineered code from to re-sell in a device). There is a Virtualbox image shared on the jagforum, its super easy if you have Windows on a laptop.
