I've recently picked up a '95 Discovery, not a lot of miles, but shortly aftre I got it I noticed a d/s squeak. I put some graphite in every nook and cranny in the seat itself, but it didn't help, in fact it seems to be getting worse. Thought it might be the shocks, as I knew these needed replacement, but did that, much nicer ride, same squeak. Sometimes it's even there at idle.

Short of ripping the whole inner cabin apart, any thoughts? I'm going to take the seat out next.

Pop the hood/bonnet when idleing and chech under the hood for the noise... I would bet on the idle pulley
