Has anyone experimented with making the viscous clutch on the fan a locker?
is there any known problem with making the fan spin at the speed of the engine at all times?

So far I've fixed the electric fans and I've had the radiator rodded out and I've replaced the thermostat and the fan switch on the thermostat housing.

I still overheat when using the A/C in the heat (90+Degrees) and it doesn't cool as well(it's actually almost warm)
I don't think the compressor is creating excessive resistance.

Would an engine flush do any good?

Any and all help appreciated.

Running your engine in a hot climate is often blamed for overheating and the radiator, thermostat, fans and water pump are often suspected. This is not always the case, unless you are actually losing coolant. The true & main reason the 3.9 litre engine runs very hot is due to the fuel/air ratio, or fuel mixture, that is controlled by the engine ECU. This was designed to run very lean through the mid range, to make altitude driving or mid range emissions (tested in some countries) less of a problem, the upshot of this however is, when these engines are used on low quality or low octane fuels or when indeed the engines are upgraded with items even as minor as free flow air filter, or exhaust headers, & Cam/Head upgrades. Athough all of these are only mild upgrades they will make weak engine run even worse. Since you have already changed out most of the above, try running a higher octane fuel. Let's know how you make out.

I run 91 Octane.. It's all there is in Los Angeles

I will say this however: even with the new fuel pump and fuel temp sensor it still starts a little reluctantly when hot. Once underway it seems fine. I don't know if this is related or not.

Thanks

Hmmm! Hot starting problems are usually caused by a faulty fuel temp sensor, but you have already changed that out.
