My sunroof on my 2003 SE7 is non functional and has been for some time. Well, Im ready to fix this thing. I push the front or rear controls and nothing happens, no noise, nothing. I assume it needs a new motor, but Im not even sure how to get the panel off to look at it. Im afraid Ill break the plastic button on the door to the electronics. Any advice on how to 1) get the door to open or 2) how to determine what is wrong. Thanks!

First things first... have you checked the fuses? Checked for power going to the switch? Swapped switches to make sure the switch isn't bad?

I will check those out tommorrow morning. I have some lights out on the dash that may be fuse related, so that may be it.

If you have a test probe, may sure you have tower to the switch and the motors. Don't force or do anything else so you don't jam up the lifts.
