Surgeing problems

I have s 98 year model... I done s complete head job.. do I replaced all top side gaskets... The issue I am having is when just sitting at a light it will surge and the oil light comes on.. but flicker off and on of course when u give it gas the light goes off.. Amy ideas or questions u can tell me.

First of all, you always replace both head gaskets, make sure you replace the head both with new bolts or studs.
I would suggest you inspect the entire valve train for wear.
If you haven't pulled the engine down yet and do an oil pressure pump, could have a failing pump and if so also replace the timing chain set.
