Cheap is a very relative term when talking LR's, yes they make several steel wheels, but it depends on what you concider to be cheap... if less than $100 a piece is cheap to you, then you shouldn't have a problem finding what you want.... if $20 is cheap to you... start shoping junk yards for spare rims.

Disconnects are possible on any Vehicle, but not sure I would go that route...

If you mean disconnects, I drive a lot more on road then off road. I also live in WV where there are very cury roads and not very well maintained. Not to mention deer crossings everywhere.

I wouldn't remove the sway bars at all, but that is just me. Yes it can help in some off road situations, but I don't want to be 2+ hours from home and bend something that I can't fix in the woods and then have to drive that distance home without sway bars.

As far as rims go... I watch the classifieds here and on Discoweb, I got a set of 5 with tires for $250, sold the tires for $200 and then bought some that would fit my set up.

Tire on the rims were 32in super swampers, I can only run 31in tires on my set up and don't plan on going bigger.
