After engine install from Jaguar/ LandRover; trying to level out ride height w/ gap tool but the drivers side will not read an adjusted height, but all 4 suspensions will add or decrease air. When I try to save the new measurements, error pops up, “ air suspension in customer service mode.” I’ve done EVERYTHING everyone has suggested to rectify the error code. I also installed a Lucky 8 SYA kit with larger tires. Thinking I could recalibrate the system the error code would still persist. I took off the tire to replace the sensor and noticed it’s a standard lift rod, rather than the 2” Johnson lift rod I previously had installed. After I re- installed all lift rods to be exactly what they need to be, in this case all standard rods. I tried to then recalibrate the system and the it keeps telling me to cycle through all modes, and it’s just all over the place and not saving, not working, the up/down arrow are always flashing. I have no idea what is wrong or how to fix it. No mechanic seems to be able to fix it, not even Jaguar place I had the newer engine installed. Any suggestions will be welcomed.

"Air suspension in customer service mode." Means the suspension was put in the tight tolerance mode, possibly for an alignment.
There's a manual way to put the vehicle into tight tolerance mode. With a series of brake pedal presses etc . This may have been inadvertently done at some time.

You can take it out of that mode with a gap tool
“air suspension in customer service mode.”, like the other's said it's in tight tolerance mode typically for locking the suspension in place for alignments. You'll need the Gap IID tool or something similar to take if off the mode.
I have the SYA kit on mine too and there's a few things you need to know. The SYA 2" spacer reduces the amount of air in the suspension required to be at any specific height. The 2" is the exact distance between normal height and bump stops. If and when your suspension fails and drops to bump stops, it's technically at normal height and your bigger tires won't rub in the fender well. Calibrating your suspension with lift rods 2" and under (like the oem rods) is impossible, because it thinks it's at normal height. You'll need 2.5" lift rods and simply add 0.5" to each corner while calibrating your suspension of flat ground.
