So, on last Friday I get my new LR3 V6 TD. While I was driving to home I heard a chime, so I inspected the message central and I discovered that there was an engine failure. It was very late so I had to wait since this morning to contact the dealer.
This morning they performed a full diagnostic, tried the truck on road, looked for new tech bulletins and...
the guy showed me a thech. b that reported a known problem on the variable geometry turbine. There is a mechanic-firm that in certain conditions could conflict with the showels of the turbine . So they must substitute it with a new one.
They will give my track back probably before next friday!
So, for TD V6 owner: be prepared, the tech bullettin say that a lot of defective units could have been installed since the end of last year (2005).
Best Regards,
