Hi All,

so I woke up this morning to realize the antenna on my 2013 LR4 has just suddenly disappeared

I haven’t been able to find much on whether this is a common problem or how to install new one

any help would be appreciated. Thanks ahead!!

P.S. On totally different note, I need breaks and rotors relatively soon. Has Anyone had any experience with the Rock Auto Power Stop Break kits (K7599 or K759936? Are they worth it?

For brakes, I got the zimmerman/pagid kit(all 4 corners) from FCPEuro and have been very happy with them so far.

Weird, did you drive through a low clearance garage recently?
That was my first initial thought but as I retraced my steps I can only remember to going work and back which is all open air

The antenna on my 2013 was leaking water pretty bad and had to be replaced last year. Maybe yours was leaking, the screws that attach it rusted and let go. I will warn you that the entire headliner has to be dropped t get at it. Dealer told me it takes 4 people to support it while being lowered or you will crack it. Apparently there is a fiberglass shell under the headliner material.

Oh WOW so this is not as easy as just ordering bolting on a new antenna?!

@Kuro50 I have the power stop kit on mine, no issues and they really are low dust. I had them on my Silverado before and liked them so much I put them on the LR4

Hoping its the same as this install. I find it appalling that LR would require headliner removal from the inside just to replace that antenna.
