E-bay has used rims, but not a lot for the LR3. Mostly there are new rims on there that you'll pay retail for. That, and even used...are really expensive. For an off-road only wheel, it became prohibitive.

However if there is a used X5 set on there then it is probably a good place to shop. ...bummer that the Mondials or Hurricaine wheels off of P38s don't fit.

Wow! I'm glad I bought mine with the SE wheels. There used to be a lot more of the
18's for sale, now it seems people are scrambling to find them. Unfortunately that means
more people will have to pay retail.

...why do you want LR wheels? They are ugly anyway. Just go aftermarket and/or find used X5 wheels. Much cheaper...

Because Land Rover wheels have a special bead design that significantly improves a tires ability to remain seated at low pressures and high deflection (like when aired down for off roading). Tire shops hate Land Rover wheels because they are harder to mount :)

That's good info...woulda been good to know before I bought those chrome rims; but I guess I'll just have to keep the pressure around 30 psi or higher. I could probably get my money back out of those rims any day since I only paid $70 each; in the event that I ever found a reasonable price on 18" LR wheels.
