Air conditioner drains, (2)
This post provides a bit more data re the two air conditioner drains, (one on each side of the transmission ****), off of the front heater that is referenced in the second post above.
A couple of the files within the link show where the two tubes are located and there is also a jpg of same.
It seems that one of both of the rubber hoses "relax" and slide off the rigid plastic drain ******* at the bottom of the heater / AC case.
All one does is slide them, (usually just one has slipped off), back up on the ******* and the AC water or cowl water is then again routed thru the floor boards to the ground beneath instead of emptying into the front carpet.
Yes, in some cases, the hoses themselves have plugged, but more often than not, the problem is just that the hoses have slipped off the heater case *******. To check for plugging, one could pour some water down each hose, one at a time, but if you see that the hoses have slipped off the *******, then that is most likely the real problem.
