Which year of DII is the best?

Our daughter would like to buy a DII. We had a 99' DII that we sold last year. What's the best year for the DII's? I thought I read somewhere the 04's had problems with the engines.

and 04 with low mileage would be the best year in my opinion. the 03's had oil pump issues but unless someone never fixed it that should have been taken care of.

All Years of Rovers are good though depending on what you want it for how many miles you drive and current cost of fuel.
