Will 265/60HR18s fit on '06 LR3 safely?

Time to replace the pieces of crap called Goodyear HPs on our '06 LR3 after only 25,000 miles. I am looking to get the Yokohama Geolander A/T-S in 265/60HR18 and was wondering if anyone forsees any issues since these are a tad bit bigger than the 255/60VR18 OEM HPs. I have checked the size and speedometer calculations and it looks like it will cause a 1.6% difference in speedo reading but I am more worried about clearance/rubbing.

No problemo, you can even go 275/60-18 with no rubbing issue.

The only thing you may need to be careful of is load rating - the LR3 requires a fairly hefty load rating because of the size of the vehicle and its carrying capacity.

nwoods on here has a website where he discusses all of the optional tires for the LR3 (even oversized ones) - I'll see if I can find the link and post it up.

Thanks, guys. Looks like the Yokohama is on the list, so I'm going with those.

Hello Everyone - New to the forum

How about the Bridgestone Dueler A/T RHS P265/65/18? My father runs this tire (not size) on his 01 Defender 110...seems happy with it. I have an '07 LR3 SE V8 with 18's and wanted to swap out the GY for a better and slightly larger tire.

265/65/r18

I just put on BF Goodrich 265/65/R18 and they are great. I looked at all possible sizes and that is a great one.

I have those Yoko's on my LR3 and they are great tires. Do a search to see some of my reviews. The Load Index (110), Speed Rating (H) and diameter comply with the warranty and LRNA standards-per my dealer who I purchased them from. I chose the 165's so as to stay within 2% of the diameter.
