Im getting a holiday deal on Goodyear Silent Armor tires. Looking at
265/65/18R .
Will be there be slight rubbing with this size? I have an 08 LR3 SE.

Thanks in advance. Happy Holidays!

I use to have them on my LR3 and yes they will rub ever so slight if you are off road and full articulation.

On the road there are no issues that I found.

I was thinking of getting those as well . . . Tryian, how much rubbing?
Need to move the wiring or modify any areas to stop the rubbing?

Same experiance here. I also run the rod mod full time. Clearance is much less at stock height....

It's well known that the size will more or less fit fine. The more important question is why would you want those on your vehicle in the first place? I can think of several tires I'd feel better about but I guess it depends on your purpose.

Hardly any really and only in full articulation offroad did I get any. Slightly in front of the rear wheel well. None after the tread was worn down a bit.

I didn't have to move the wiring but I did just to be sure.

They make a good medium off-road tire with good on road handling. I switched to BFG on my next set because I started to do more extreme off-road, but they do not handle as well on road as the SA did.
