On the HSE you can get from $1000 to $2000 off of list. Probably closer to $1000. (That is what i got, but I called around and some dealers said they would do 1500, but they didn't have the vehicle I wanted).

You can build and SE for less than the HSE minus:

Adaptive lighting
Memory seats
550 watt sound system
19' wheel.

Availabilty is the issues so work with your local retailer.

I fell into that bit, the 8-way memory seats and the stereo are way worth it IMO. I love the truck but HATE the seats on the SE. I'm waiting to see the first totaled HSE so that I can get my body shop to grab those seats... I wish.

The HSE stereo nothing to brag about... far from perfect. You hate the SE seats because the driver seat doesn't have front "up and down"? (I think that's the only difference, other than memory.) Yeah, it's a little silly they bother having 6-way vs. 8-way.
