Oil leak
On my 07 4.4 it started leaking oil rather suddenly a few nights ago and marked it's territory in the garage. I found the source of it, but I have no idea what it's called. The oil filter screws onto what I believe is the cooler and then the cooler connects to this piece that mates to the engine... -

Front axle seal leak
I have a leak where the CV on the passenger side connects to the intermediate shaft....the "barrel" of the CV is damp. I read somewhere that the seal is integral to the CV axle, is that true? Thanks! -

"Ghost" leak
Past week I've noticed a small oily spot under the LR3...about an 1.5" in diameter. Coming from the middle of it. Got a P2406. Could this be caused by a leaking EGR valve? The indy I use said the EGR valve is leaking (when he was diagnosing some other issues)- could this be the cause? -

PO172 code
I'm getting a code for running rich- P0172. I've put in new spark plugs, new air filer, new NGK iridium spark plugs and a new MAF sensor. Any ideas on other things to check? -

Torque specs for front end stuff?
Anyone have a list of torque specs for front suspension and steering stuff? Just had the air shocks replaced and have a bit of a clunk (although it was there before, it's a bit more pronounced now) and was going to try tightening stuff. Thanks! -

Cruise works intermittently

Intermittent rough idle
My LR3 has an intermittent rough idle. When I first start it and it settles into the "normal range" it goes from like 700 down to below 500 and then goes back up, sometimes pretty roughly. Suspension fault- but no side effects

Bad wheel bearing
I think I have a bad wheel bearing...got the roaring/grumbling noise, gets worse when turning left (unloading the drivers side). Checked for play and the drivers side has play. Did I diagnose it right? The reason I ask is because I thought that if it gets louder turning left the passenger side... -

Serpentine belt replacement
Probably need to replace the serpentine belt and that secondary belt as well...have the chirping noise when it's cold, plus I have 122k on it and I'm not sure if the dealer ever did them. Is it recommended to replace both the tensionsers too? Thanks! -

So lately on the LR3 I've noticed somethings... 1. Climate control knobs not working at all- fixed with replacing the blower control module 2. Hearing a lot of noises from behind the dash- the "farts"- whenever the temperature is adjusted 3. Takes a while to react to temp change or won't react... -

Strange headlight issue
I've noticed the past few days that when after shutting the LR3 off, the left headlight (driver's) doesn't stay on with the headlamp delay feature. Alternator going bad?
Just wondering if anyone is familiar with the signs of an alternator going bad. Past few months on occasion I've smelled a slight "electrical burn" smell after pulling the LR3 in the garage and it seems slower to crank over- the battery is good to my knowledge- like maybe it's not getting...
