is this battery a standard size available somewhere other than Land Rover?
Our 2015 is ready for a replacement. I would probably just ignore it but the SO actually likes the ISS system.

I just got mine replaced by the dealer under warranty on my 15. They actually ended up replacing both batteries because the system wouldn't work properly without it. Come to think of it, it only really worked for a day and the engine hasn't shut off since... May be the weather? There has been some days close to or in the 50's.

Is your LR4 under warranty? If so, just let the dealer do it for free.

I do not trust the dealer. He wanted to replace the main battery with an inferior brand/size. Went with an agm from BatteriesRUs. I’m willing to pay for an oem ISS battery and install myself in order avoid the dealership “experience.”
I repeat: does anyone know if it is a standard size?

take my advice, don't fix it. There is NO value in stop start. Don't care what anyone says. Stop/Start is the second biggest EPA scam behind the emissions testing defeat code.

Stop/start in a controlled EPA testing environment might have yielded better results, but I can pretty much guarantee no on is getting any value. Ours worked once. i took it to the dealer and they "replaced the battery". It worked for a day and it was so annoying that I was googling how to override it. Fortunately, it stopped working the very next day and has never worked again. that was over a year and a half ago.

Save for the fact that it doesn't work. Imagine how hard it is on your engine to continually shut off and restart during a city commute? It's like having someone sitting in the parking lot with your car just turning it on, then off, on they off. Does that sound like it's good for your car?

The issue I have when it doesn't work is when you stop somewhere and wait such as picking someone up, you have to turn off the ignition and then turn the electric back on just to listen to music. If the ECO is working, you park, it stops, put it in park and the electrics are still on (as long as you don't take your seatbelt off). Most other vehicles I've had keep the electric items energized for a predetermined amount of time.

So I just purchased a 2015 LR4 with this code showing. If I disconnect the "motorcycle battery, will the code go away. I have no interest in this feature, I just want to get rid of the orange light.

We just got back from moms condo in Cape Canaveral and rented a Jeep Cherokee with the stupid start stop feature and I just don't get it, every stop it shuts off but when the air gets warm it starts to cool car off so pointless then lead foot wife punches it when the light turns green so the car has to start and accelerate. I missed my LR4...

is there any known way to get rid of the orange ECO light? I don't want to have to hit the button every time. Just keep it running, no light no button.
