FIRST POST ALERT: Love the info in this thread!
Can't seem to find how much the compomotives weigh. Anyone know?
Tuffants are 39lbs and I'm little worried about the extra unsprung steel affecting ride quality. Getting as close as ever pulling the trigger on some tuffants and 265/60 KO2s.
Tipping point was that I just drove the Mojave Trail last weekend and got a flat on one my street tires about an hour in. The ensuing anxiety of not having another spare for 100+ miles of off-roading is not something I want to experience again. Want to know what troll said a Subaru Outback could have done that trail...
I quickly searched and couldn't find the weight of the Compomotives.
The Evo Corse wheels "start at" 13.5 kgs, which is about 30 lbs.

Not sure what "start at" means, considering they are only available in one size.
But still, 9 lbs per wheel difference between those and the Tuffants isn't huge, especially when you consider that even E-rated tires can fluctuate about 3 or 4 pounds, depending on the brand.
