I've had a few.
Cooper Zeon LTZ (255/55/19) - Good all-around, but not so hot in snow. Gets loud after its half worn.
Continental Contact (the stock tires) - I guess they're quiet? Seemed pretty mushy overall, not good in snow.
Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT (265/65/18) - Great tire, very quiet actually. Rides a bit softer than the Zeon too unless you turn up the pressure to 65 or something. The LT tire unfortunately doesn't have the 3 mountain snowflake.
Blizzak DM-V2? (255/55/19) - Quintessential snow tire. It definitely makes a difference. Great for deep snow. On the highway though, when there's an inch of slushy stuff after the plows have tried their best and other people have driven through, the biggest issue is still the car's weight. I had an Audi A4 before the LR4, which probably weighed half as much as the LR4. That thing on all-season was about as good as the LR4 on Blizzaks.
