Last night, there was a car next to my LR4 that needed a jump. I gladly offered to help, and the ding bat connected the leads to his car(after I told him to just hold them), and there was a small puff of smoke from my positive battery terminal. I immediately pull my leads, but at this point, I knew it was too late(as well as he, based off my facial expression). Lo and behold, CHARGING SYSTEM FAULT. At this point, I stress to him to just HOLD the leads. I jump started his car, and preceeded home(hoping I'd make it). Drove 30 mins, about 25 miles, with no issue(other than the fault light). Drove it again, for about 20 min local, getting drive thru. No issues. Before I start messing with it, anyone have an idea on what I fried? Any help is appreciated.
