Here’s a cold start of my rover. I removed the muffler, mid resonator, and two back resonators by the tips. I added two Magnaflow Magnapacks and straight piped the rest of it to two aftermarket tips. It sounds ferociously loud upon a cold start up and when you’re gunning it on the street/highway...however it sounds factory stock at idle. There is slight droning around 75-85mph, but I’m 27 years old so I don’t care. Also 55mph is legal anyways in NYC traffic lol. The truck sounds really mean and not "cheap n rusty" at all. The 5.0 jag v8 was way too quiet from the factory and it was more suited for the older folks up in the Hamptons. Some will hate and for that I agree it’s not for everyone. I guess in a couple years when i'm older with a family ill be tired of it and put all the original exhaust parts back on. The entire exhaust system cost me under $200 about a year ago to do.

Oooooh that does sound mean. True it’s not everyone’s taste but I agree after a few days with mine, and coming from a 6.2l AMG motor, it’s way too quiet for the power it’s making. I was considering those magna packs to replace the
Mufflers but leaving everything else stock. You think that would give me a few decibels? Definitely not paying for the whole magnaflow system.

Yeah this is not the magnaflow exhaust system. I think the entire system that costs over a grand does not sound nearly as good as this cheaper/easier option. I literally just chopped off the muffler and three resonators and put regular pipes in its place. I just added magnapacks after the cats. To answer your question yes...just remove the huge big muffler and add the magna packs in. Ill post a link of it. It’ll sound great!!

I took the center resonator off my truck aswell. I will say that I’ve gotten very used to it and there is a little vibration through the cabin but the sound this car makes is amazing. When your on the gas it puts a smile on your face but it’s not loud enough to turn peoples heads. Pops and bangs when your manual down shifting and the torque converter locks up. It’s perfect in my opinion and I’ll provide some photos of the job.

I'd like for the exhaust to sound better, but I need to keep it down since this is the family car and quiet highway cruising cannot be upset at all. I have other cars for fun sounds.

I did a muffler delete 3 years ago.

I get a little drone under load, but not bad at all. It sounds mean when driving through the off road canyons under load too.
