I think. LR013750, OOS at most places, probably because it's being replaced with the new improved version.
Exactly. IMHO, those that had the repair done already should probably have theirs checked (perhaps replaced w the new part). AND get reimbursement for the repair with what could've been (likely) a faulty OE part.

This is a good question. JLR will reimburse people who have paid out of pocket... but is there a new/improved part being released? Or are they just installing the same old thing which might leak again in 5-10 years?

New improved part. A band-aid fix would expose them to too much liability, and that partially explains the delay. According to the recall numbers they may need to fix upwards of 110K vehicles. As slow as they've been to respond to this, (years) they could have easily had a Ford 'Pinto' situation. SMH.

We have received letters from Rover for both the 2013 and the 2016 saying they have been recalled but to “please stand by” because no parts are available. They say they will send a second letter. They also say that if you already paid for the repair you will be reimbursed.

Have you all started to see the letters come in? I still haven't seen one. Been back and forth with LRNA and my dealer. I've paid out of pocket for this (like a week before the recall came out) and am still trying to chase reimbursement. LRNA confirmed my vehicle is part of the recall but feel like i'm going in circles here.
