My 2015 LR4 HSE seems to have developed a noise in the mechanism that raises and lowers the frame. At any level I hear a noise underneath as if it is in the engage mode. There doesn't seem to be any problem driving but it just sounds like it is trying to engage. I never really use this feature. While in park I can hear it making a sound like I said as if it is trying to engage. In addition, I have a power train warranty and I'm wondering if this is part of the power train in case I need service.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum. This sounds like the air suspension pump is making noises. This could just be it makes noise, or it could be having issues.

Disclaimer: I'm an LR4 newbie myself..but...check where the noise is coming from: the air compressor is located on the "outside of the left hand chassis rail, forward of the upper control arm", to quote from the manual. If the air suspension is working perfectly it should only operate when you're raising or lowering the car. If it's working more often I think you should suspect a leak somewhere, most likely I believe in one of the air springs. One thing to check: does it drop overnight? If there's an air spring leak, say in the LH rear, the control system will operate the rear valve block to level the rear, so the whole back will be dropped. Measure from the wheel centre to the top of the wheel arch. If there is a leak and it's not fixed the compressor will fail through overuse. Strictly FWIW..
