Looking into doing a headlight setup swap.. from my stock 06 LR3 halogens to the Xenon. Looks like buying the whole new headlight setup will easily plug into the existing harness....

Anyone do this or know if there will be issues in voltage or wiring.... or anything with this swap?

Hmmm...if there is a kit then it will probably work. Just make sure there is a ballast built into the unit, otherwise I don't see how it can be plug 'n play.

So there are two types of Xenons for the LR3, you have Adaptive and Non-Adaptive. If you are retro-fitting them, you need to go with non-adaptive (non moving.) The part numbers for them are:

XCB001122 (right)
XBC001132 (left)

These model numbers are pretty much plug & play and are the "lighting package" that you may see added to SE models. The HSE comes with the Adaptive HIDS which will not work as plug in play replacements due to the wiring harnesses be slightly different. You can check the Classified section on this site, and I believe there are a pair for sale. Also you can check ebay for pretty decent pricing on them as well.

Are you talking new or used? New you're going to pay a pretty penny for them (generally at least $600-800 for one light.) Used I've seen them go for $200 a light and usually hover around ~$400 something a light on eBay. If you are patient sometimes you'll get a smokin deal on a set on eBay.

I purchased the set of Xenons for sale in the classified section. Installed and they work perfectly! Part numbers above are in fact plug and play

I ordered a set of HID lamps and a harness from www.westcoastrovers.com. Cost a bit over $300. They are not OEM, but they work awesome. No brand name on the box. It was plug and play into the existing harness, just needed to plug in the "included-with-the-kit" ballast system. Probably the best, most useful modification I have done to my truck. The difference, is literally, night and day :)

Hi, thanks for sharing the info. I just checked the website you provided, and they sell thru Ebay... is that how you get those? What is the part number if you can provide to us?
Once again, thanks for the info. For that price, it's really a great deal.
