Cars with memory seats (HSE) had temporary power for the driver's seat for a period of time after the door was unlocked with the fob. For lower LR3 trims, the key needed to be in the ignition. Stupid, stupid... yes. -

No, the door does not lock in North America. As it's siphon proof, is there really a need for door security? It would only block 'casual' vandalism... which would be pretty rare, in my opinion. (If someone is going to try to pour something foreign in there, a flimsy door isn't going to stop them.) -

If you are talking about the dealer installed Rosen rear DVD player (branded Land Rover), the included headphones are IR based... so, it's somewhat proprietary. If you need replacements, you may need to contact Rosen. Or just use hardwired headphones... either plugged into the door jacks... -

Looks like you are configured for use in Canada: mandatory daytime lights. The dealer can switch this via test book. So, they'd need to at least plug in. It's within their right to charge you a labor minimum if this isn't a warranty fix... maybe you'll get lucky. (Why were you configured for... -

What does 3/36 mean? You mean 3 more years, and 36K more miles? So, your extended warranty expires at 7 years after purchase, or at 86K miles? That sounds odd. -

Ford ESP can be purchased until the factory warranty is over, which is 4 year/50K... the 3 year/36K limit doesn't apply to LR3. -

It's just a 'simple' software upgrade for the Bluetooth PTI system. In theory, the upgrade is not free... they are supposed to charge you since it's not a fix. If they pull up the TSB, they'll see something like this: "This feature is at the request of the customer only, and must be charged... -

I think Ford ESP increased the prices in November... your 6/100K (two more years, up to 100K) warranty would probably be ~$2400 from the same seller. And likely a few more hundred for a 7/100K, if available. -

Do I have Tire Pressure Monitors? (TPMS)
If I remember correctly, it was added late. The earlier 2006 builds didn't have it. The valve stem will be metal if you have TPMS. -
