Here you go....I really liked the overall look with the Duratracs but I recently swapped them (they were worn and loud) for Nokian WRG3 which is better for my mostly-on-road and snow use. They just don't look as good. These pics don't show the non-skid tape I applied to a few strategic areas on top of the tubes; my wife and kids insisted!

Those look awesome and will do the job of providing the necessary protection! Appreciate you sharing.

Thanks for all the replies. Yeah I have narrowed my search down to a CPO a vehicle from land rover dealer as it comes with the additional warranty to 100k, I think worth the premium then buying from random used car dealer. Also hoping on lease return as good way to verify history of the car.

In terms of getting HD trim that will be tough, I been searching for close to 3 months, it's a needle in the haystack very very tough to find in 2016 models. I plan to ride it more on dirt roads and take it as touring vehicle on road trips, camping etc. so even though I prefer it, it is not a must have.

My main preference is more on color ( i prefer the grey, red, blue, already had white and black cars), have the black pack, roof racks and 19inch wheels vs the 20 inch for more comfortable ride and quiet ride. The wheels is just an assumption but to any owners out there who have LR4 and have driven on both 19 vs 20 inch when it comes to on road cabin noise and ride, does it make much difference?

No in terms of on road ride 19" vs 20" is minimal. More important is tire. For quiet cabin. Michelin Defender M/S

No difference at all except very few tire choices for 19’s. Sounds like you don’t need anything too aggressive , but still not a ton to choose from in 19”

thanks for the responses, this gives me a little more flexibility as i won't be stuck on one wheel size. I definitely agree with Michelin well worth the premium as i find they last longer and are much more quieter.

Just don't get the Michelin Premier as they do not last long but are awesome on road while they do. Michelin defender m/s which have a little more beef anyhow for your light off road adventures.

no difference between 15 and 16, which might make it easier to find the HD/LUX, but, I would get the HD and the LUX. After taking my wife's off road a bit, no way I'd go with the V6 without the low range xfer. The 8sp is incredible with the v6, keeps you right on the power curve all the time.

To me, just the memory seats are worth the extra cost, as I'm picky about my seating, and if I had to reconfigure after wife driving i'd go crazy.

Cruising at 75 i'm getting 21/22, 80 i get 18/19. No roof rails or rack, super slippery...

Little update, for everyone in the community, as myself receive lots of great information from this forum and other like this:

-Ended up pulling the trigger, on 2016 silver edition with 20k miles Montalcino red with black pack from land rover dealer, has good amount of factory warranty left, plus cpo so little bit of peace of mind as first time land rover owner, love the color and overall look. paid more than i wanted but i don't feel bad about it.

looks similar to this:

Things I noticed so far:

-Engine stays warm even after 2-3 hours, meaning if i feel the side of the hood you can still feel the warmth, very different to my past cars which were all japanese (honda, toyota), i can maybe say this due to how well the engine is sealed so maybe it tends to trap heat, just a guess.

-SCV6, no complaints with the engine, i don't expect it to be a sports car, good torque and power band.

-Has the upgraded sound system, was not looking for it when i bought it, but very impressed none the less, if your buying, it is something to consider if you're into audio.

-The rear taillight I like, but don't like the red reflector, has anybody blacked that out to match rest of the light?

-Does not have the HD package, while I would of preferred it was just too hard to find.

In comparison to all other land rover models/other companies models things I noticed:

-The full size L405 and this are really close in luxury feel, even though this is half the price, road noise and ride are really similar, i think all the new models with the aluminum body construction are little louder compared to the older heavier steel body models, need to drive the old L322 model years to confirm this belief. All other newer models: velar, sport, disco 5 don't feel as good, feel like they are cutting corners somewhere.

- The new interiors on the new models while nice, I don't like the multiple screens, too futuristic for me personally, this LR4 and older models while much less options feels more homely/elegant, i maybe old school in this opinion.

- I feel like the G Wagon and this are very similar in looks, utility and capability but never see comparison videos online about it, maybe due to large gap in price difference. Anyways to my point this vs the old G wagon (2018 and older models) is no comparison, LR4 wins easily in every category. But am very curious about the new one that just came out 2019 model as they updated everything, feel like that maybe close to the LR4.

I will continue to update my
experience

cheers
