Greetings LandRovians, I just got my GAP Tool and am reading the user manual. There is a table that states:

1.6.2 Model-Referent code of covered vehicles

2010-2016 LR4 - Platform Code L319 and Suffixe -10.

What does this mean?

Thanks,

Parker

Rovers after a certain era had model (platform) codes assigned to them. LR3 and LR4 are L319. There's the L322 Range Rover and the P38 Range Rover as add'l examples. The Discovery 5 is L462, etc.

Not sure what the Suffixe code is but could refer to trim, engine, or some other aspect.

You'll find those codes in many chapters of the GAP tool manual. L319-10 means that it applies to the Discovery 4 / LR4 exclusively, suffix "-10" indicating Model Year 2010 (and later.) L319-04 applies to Disco/LR3 only, meaning 2004 to 2009 model years. L319 without either suffix applies to both models - LR3 and LR4 - of the L319 platform.
