fyi it looks like this ford part can be used to fix this issue instead of getting a whole new assembly. I am installing one. Part C1BZ9C915AThat is a great deal, thank you. I did notice there are quite a few PN's but the way I'm looking at it is hopefully there is only one Purge Control Valve per vehicle mounted near the engine valve cover and the wizard on that site verified it fits my year/model. I did a visual part and picture match for LR010806 so as long as the website I was looking at had correct information then then LR172646 is the latest revision. That is something I didn't think about with the Ebay option. That used part while functional and inexpensive could be outdated where new fixes are built in later part revisions making it stronger. At least that is what I'd like to think, they could potentially do that if they wanted to lol.

I attempted this with a cheap aftermarket piece but couldn’t get a good seal with the ends. They’re that shrink-plastic and when I tried vacuum hose and clamps they still leaked.fyi it looks like this ford part can be used to fix this issue instead of getting a whole new assembly.
