2014 LR4 285/55/R20 +J-Rods+Hi-Lift 5"

Greeting.

I have been suffering to find BFG KO2 275/55/20

Sadly all i can find in my country is BFG KO2 285/55/20.



FYI
#I bought 2.5" Johnson rods (not yet installed)

#Consider buying Italian chip hi lift lr4 suspension to almost 5" if needed (equilevent to hi lifting body to 15" on the ground) . The company called Land Rover Passion with cost of 470€. Haven't read any review on it but it seems relative to MUDTECH whereas the mudtech4x4 have poor communication even slow response in emails.



#My rig for LR4 V6 3.0cc Supercharged are to be fitted with:
Front bumper
Rear bumper + spare carrier
Tree slider
Roof rack
Under body protection

#My use of the car 70% on road 30% offroad. Counting 70% due to mostly the road trips are a asphalted all the way long and i choose this particular vehicle for more comfort reasons while driving.

Attached are my 20" rims incase any recommendations regarding size,should i gave up and install KO2 285/55/20 or charge extra 250$ for shipping fees and purchasing KO2 275/55/20

If there are a good looking 17" mainly or 18" rims that would fit to the LR4 please advice (exclude the compomotive and factory rims from the list)

Where are you from?.. in the US the 285/55 KO2 size doesn’t even show up on the website.

Good news today i contact a local dealer at UAE and they were having stock of 275&285/55 and the shipping are going to be cheaper due to local friend there is going to assist me.

Thanks all for reading and participating and i am 100% sure that my question is repeated one, but i must make sure that 285/55 will not have any rubbing or other issues to the car. Specially that sizes defer from each manufacturer to another, and apviously between A/T and M/T.

Unfortunately the lr4 cannot handle 285/55 without heavy modification. I believe the largest tire you can fit is the 275/55 and that is with minor rubbing.

Thanks for the feedback i am going with 275/55 for know untill i can manage to find some 18"/17" rims that is awesome.

FYI and thanks to the thread first and second to equilibrium. Know the 275-55 are installed almost perfectly. Still have rubbing issue on the rear/front left tires when lowering or left full steering.
