Hi all i have recently purchased a 95 disco v8 the car starts & runs fine on LPG all the time, When switched to petrol it will start & idle fine there is some lag when you rev it, when driving on petrol it has a noticable loss of power & after 5-10 mins of driving it wont rev over 1500 rpm any ideas ???

How many miles and what service has been done other than adding LPG?

Could be fuel pump, Fuel Filter, Fuel Pressure Regulator or other things.

Car has done 250,000km record of services up to 230,000, things done since purchase include, new plugs & leads, new air filter, new TPS, after issues with the power i replaced the fuel filter cut open the old one & it was well overdue for replacement, just completed replacing the fuel injectors found the old ones clogged up with crap lucky if 4 of the 8 were working, now starts & idles great on petrol as well, can rev the car up & it runs great when stationary but still dies at 1500rpm when trying to drive & still running fine on LPG in all situations

The Speed Sensor can cause issues like this at least for Petrol side, not sure why it would not effect LPG, but We don't get that option here in the USA.

What about fuel flow restriction from the tank to the pump or filter? Could be you're not getting enough flow under load?

Normally I would say no... If the filter is clear and you are getting fuel at idle I doubt it is a fuel issue at least as far as flow or volume. If it runs well out of gear and runs well as LPG, I would bet on Speed Sensor (this part is also a know issue with Cruise control issues) as it causes problems with fuel delivery under load.
