Hey guys, I have a 96' Disco 4.0L and I was given a fuel pump out of a 98' Disco. Anybody know if I can use this on my vehicle (I would like a backup pump - just incase) The pump was out of a wrecked 98' that had low mileage at the time.

My original pump is a ESR3926 w/o evap loss (ie. one 4-pin elec connector)

The newer one is a WFX101020 with evap loss (ie. one 4-pin and one 3-pin elec connector)

I have the short elec harness that connects to the pump and to the harness under the truck on the other side. Everything will connect as plug and play but would I have any probs running this thing?

The 4-pin connector on both is to run the pump and as far as I can figure the 3-pin connector on the newer pump is for the evap loss only - anybody know for sure?

Doubt it. There is a round one, and a square one. You need them to match. Just look at it in the very back of the engine and see if it is a match.
