K&N filters will increase your engines performance and also the amount of fine particulates that make their way into your engine....it's a trade-off. I've run K&N filter for years on performance engines but I've done so at a cost of wear and tear on the motors.
Just my $.02....worth everything you've paid for it!

i'm already running a k&n straight replacement.. this setup seems to maybe be more efficient for airflow?
