Any praises for the 03 LR Discovery?

Just bought a used LR Discovery SE 03, with about 40,000 miles on it. It had one owner prior and seems to be in good shape. I've now read a lot of negative things about them, which I've known, but wanted to just get some re-assurance from someone out there that has had a good experience, etc. I have a neat nagivation system that speaks in a British accent which I also thought was cool. Thanks.

I think the 03's are a cool looking discovery. I haven't heard anything good or bad about them, but they do have a powerful engine, cool looking headlights, and they're comfortable and rugged. I think you made a good choice. If you take care of it, it should last forever.

Not sure what you have heard that is bad, remember 90% of the stuff you read on forums is from people asking about issues, complaining about issues or talking about issues. And when you read JD powers reports keep in mind that the average Chevy pickup owner doesn't buy a New LR, and the people that do buy LR expect them to be perfect.
