OK....so I'm a dumba$$....let's get that out of the way first.
Truck is on jack stands - passenger front corner is disassembled.
I am replacing my front lower control arms (bushings shot) and I forgot to dump the air before I started working. Now I have it all back together except I can't get the shock lined up in the arm. It is a solid 2" off. Thinking that depressurizing the system will make it easier to get the shock in place.
Other option is to undo the frame attachment points on the LCA, lower the arm, reattach the shock, then try to suck up the bag when I reattach the frame side. Guessing compressing that bag will be nearly impossible?
Passenger side sensor won't move when I depressurize (obviously) so the computer will only see movement on 3 corners - and even those will be screwy since the front corner is off the ground.
and I thought cutting the arm off the truck was going to be the hard part!
