I have two totally worn (inside tread mind you) goodyear rear tires, can i just replace the two rear tires with Michelin's or do i need to shoe all 4 wheels?

Also is there a better place to get an LR3 alignment near san francisco? Dealer is way to expensive.

Thanks,

I think you'll get more than 25k, but it's impossible to tell really. Depends on driving habits and the way the vehicle wears the tires....at this point there is little data on the latter.

I had Michelins on my Montero (2 sets) and got over 100K on each.

Ask for warranty help. Same thing happened to me...LR paid for one tire, I bought the other one and I road them out until the other 2 wore out, then bought 4 Michelins. The premature tire wear is a known issue. (search this forum and you'll find lots of info)

I had michelins on my old RR and it made it to 75000 miles. My current cross terrains have over 15000 and show no wear. The important thing is to keep checking the alignment, which you can get done at any reputable tire shop
