Hello,
new to this forum in the hope that I will find someone who knows what that message means. This appears on my 06 LR3, only when I press the "suspend cruise control" button. I have to stop, switch off for several minutes and restart to get the situation to clear and Cruise to work again.
Work around; don't press that button!

Welcome to the forum... I will move this to the LR3 section... where someone I am sure can help you out.

i have this problem with my lr3 too.. tho, its slightly different.. anyway, found a posting in a different forum that describes the problem and a fix..

"The clock spring needs to be replaced on your cruise control switch on the steering wheel. I believe there is a TSB on the issue. When the dealer replace mine, it worked like a charm."

haven't had the dealer address it on my vehicle yet.. but will tell you the outcome.

I have little cruise control gremlins that pop up from time to time with no obvious pattern. Restarting the car will solve the problem, which doesn't really help you when you're doing 70mph down the freeway and just want to turn on cruise control.
