Turns out that it was a heat shield a little out of wack and vibrating at certain times. I had done the tsb for the transfer case weight prior to having it in the shop and up on the lift so I don’t know if that “helped” the situation or not. Hope this helps someone in the future

    Yay I win! LOL

I'm glad it was something minor.

Dont you hate it when you think there was something actually wrong with your car then its something as stupid as a heat shield?

The transfer case weight helped me out a lot.

Are you kidding? I LOVE when it's something stupid (and cheap).

Which heat shield was it? I’m chasing down a similar sound.

I can confirm that I put in new driveshafts and bearing this summer and the carrier does have movement similar to yours brand new out of the box and I use all factory LR parts.

When I picked the truck up i unfortunately was in a rush and didn’t have time to ask. I’m sure any of them can make the same sound as the driveline is what’s vibrating and they extend down the length of it. I would try to get it up on a lift to see.
