I just had to replace a bad heater core hose. Of course I lost most of the fluid in the process.

How do I go about filling this thing up and knowing what the right level is? I've never had a vehicle without a normal radiator cap so I can just look inside of it to see how much is in there.

There is a plastic resevour that should say engine coolant or something like that on it. Should be on the passenger side under the hood. I would fill it 3/4 of the way up then run it until it reaches operating temperature, then let it cool down and check the level according to the directions on the resevour.

You will also find a plastic fill cap on top of the radiator itself.... I would fill that first, it tends to help get the radiator filled better.

Then while your there, replact the plastic one with a brass one.... worth every penny
