I'm running an 85 defender with a 2.5 n/a. RHD. I can get my hands on a rebuilt 200tdi for a low price. Is the 300tdi so much better that it justifies the extra work to switch the transmission, I have an LT77 to the R380, as well. Diesels are rough. I can't imagine it is that much more refined.

From what I have read the 300 is a huge improvement over the 200, but to justify the cost and effort of replacing the transmission....
