I angled it up by the exhaust so that the fore half of the tire was almost in position, then started cranking on the tire winch. After there was sufficient tension (about every revolution), I'd kick the exposed part of the aft portion of the tire (the part just inside the rear bumper), which releases the friction and the tension pulls the tire up a bit. Just repeated that until the whole tire was in position.
Aaah yea I hadn’t tried this approach. The winch does want to bring the aft end in first leaving the front edge lower and at a bad angle. I’ll try again!

Here we go. 10 psi, no heat shield, plus “front end first” technique and I was able to pop her back up in there. Thanks for the assist.

Now don't ask me how to get it out. I haven't tried that yet. I've only got around 4k miles on my set, so no rotation yet.

I would say that it's worth it if you are always carrying a compressor. If you don't want to, then probably not. But, then again, if you don't carry a compressor you probably don't need the bigger tires anyway...
