I'm looking for a good place to feed a 12-gauge positive lead through the firewall to feed an accessory outlet I'm adding. Any recommendations on a place where I might be able to do that easily? Preferably something with an existing grommet?

I do not recommend this location. Way too easy to damage wiring loom/harness there. The brake booster grommet has nothing running through it and is nowhere near any important wire harnesses.Thank you, all. I ended up finding it easiest to go through the main loom entry point behind the fuse box on the passenger side.
I can totally understand that perspective. There are a lot of wires already going through there. What I did was use a rounded-off nail, lubed up with some vaseline*, and wedged in on one side...pushing against the grommet, not the wiring. Getting it "started" that way enabled me to push through with some confidence.I do not recommend this location. Way too easy to damage wiring loom/harness there. understood, i just wanted to post that for posterity so that others understand the risk. Those wires are easily damaged and could be a major pain in the **** to fix.I can totally understand that perspective. There are a lot of wires already going through there. *wondering if the censor is going to pick up on the innuendo here.
