Gas Tank Lid Lock?

Could it be similar to the fuel burning heater where land rover fitted it to all of the models but on the lower spec vehicles they just didn't enable it in the software I have it fitted to my discovery 4 but I have no way to turn it on unless I fit my own system to operate it(which I am thinking of doing)

Locking fuel doors do nothing to prevent theft other than the owner having to also replace a mangled fuel door.

Anyone tired a Stant 10521 locking gas cap. I see folks using this on the Range Rover side?

Update. Got the gas cap from Stant. Fits like stock. No issues so far and its been a full tank of gas.
