Hey LR4 lovers.

I’m looking to buy a 2012-2016 (I know there’s a lot of variation between these MY).

I’m looking for a well maintained green LR4. I wish to own both the most reliable car in the world (my Land Cruiser) and the lease haha. (So I’ve heard?). I love the ride these rigs offer. Drove a friends and was in love.

So if anyone is thinking of selling their rig, please let me know.

In other news, what years do you recommend I look for ? I know there’s 14-16 lost 2 cylinders and the HD package is an option that was standard in the 10-13’.

Appreciate your input and insight!

2013 if you want the V8. 2014+ if you don't mind the V6. If you go for the V6 and will be off-roading you'll wanna find one with the HD package for low range transmission.

HD package wasn't standard in those years or ever. Starting in 2014, you only get the low range transmission option included with the HD package. 2010-13 all models came with low range. You are correct on cylinders. 2010-12 have issues with timing chain tensioner wearing down prematurely and causing the engine to blow up. It's a $5-6k preventative maintenance job to replace the tensioner.

What do you think of this rig ? And its price ? It’s a rebuilt title.
