Hanging Battery Wire

My battery recently died and I'm getting a new one. While taking a look at the battery, I noticed this wire or fuse laying on top of the battery not connected to anything, attached is a picture. Does anyone know what this is for and what to do with it after I replace the battery? Thanks.

It was used during shipping. Normal.

Ok, thanks for the info @f1racer328 - seems so strange to have a random wire/fuse. Chalk it up to another quirky trick with the LR4.

The early models had a transit relay that would cut power to the vehicle during shipping.
Land Rover quit using the relays, so they capped off the connector.

That's the connection to the shipping/transit relay, used only during shipping from the factory to the dealership.
Make sure the cap is on clicked on properly and is tight and tuck it away safely.

Hi guys, was running a couple aux wires to the main battery box the other day and I found this plug/wire just hanging loosely between the battery box and the air box, passenger side. I did a Google search based on the part # on the plug and the only thing that popped up was an air temp sensor...
