Hi,

I am totally new to using threads on the puter so bear with me if I stuff things up!

I am after some help with a problem on my 2000 td5 disco. She has started to blow black smoke (slowly got worse over 6 months) under load and at idle. She has also started to use a lot more fuel and is now losing power. I have had all the codes checked by landrover dealer and they replaced the airflow meter. Made no difference.

Can anyone out there help please?

Welcome to the forum... sounds like either a turbo issue, or injectors. I would also check to make sure it isn't burning oil... if burning oil, it is a turbo issue, or oil levels are good, then I would say injectors.
