I like many other Lr3 owners occasionally have our passenger side fill up with water from a clogged ac drain. What is the easiest way to unclog it?

It's not the AC drain.

You need to check the sunroof drains and also the lower windshield cowl. If the cowl is warped, lifted off the glass, on the passengers side, replace it. That allows water that runs down the glass to go right into the, normally open, fresh air vent for the HVAC unit.

A clogged, kinked, or torn sunroof drain will cause this too, it will either cause water to back up in the tray, and overflow dripping from the top down, or to drain right into the footwell, on top of the CJB. You need to get this fixed as soon as possible as it will quickly turn into an electrical nightmare.

Cleaning ac drains....

If it is your ac drain, you clean it by, getting a 3-4 ft small gauge cable from the hardware store, (The kind used for bike locks, the same width of a usb cable should work.) put duct tape on the end you plan on inserting into the drain pipe. The ac pipe is located near the passengers left shin. You take off the panel on the right side of your center counsel and you'll see a rubber tube connected to a drain. Pull that off and insert the cable into the tubing. Also you can spray some dish soap water mix to help lubricate the cable. push the cable through until it comes out from the bottom. This should unclog your drain if it is truly the problem. I had the same problem with my passenger floor getting wet, but it turned out to be my cowl being warped and water coming in through the air pollen filter vent. Also check your a pillars there was a recall and a quick fix to plug up two holes on the a pillar on either side where water was known to seep through.
