i apologize for resurecting this thread (i am new the LRs), but just wondering if someone can summarize how to do this..

i have a 2000 D2 and am interested in getting the CDL working, is this simply getting the 2004 differential Shifter and installing it? or is there more that is required?

is there a good write up somwhere i can read on the subject?

You could even go cheap and just get a cable that moves the nut.... install time 2 hours... cost under $10.

so i haven't looked at it yet (that is what this 3 day weekend is for)

where exactly is the bolt/nut that enganges the lock?

will i be able to see it from underneath the vehicle?

It's been a while since this subject was talked about, but I'm looking at purchasing a 2003 Disco, to replace my 96. In talking with the local service mgr found that some of the 2003's had the T-case with the CDL and that there's a kit you can purchase that would allow you to use it. Questiion is, how can I find out looking at the T-case if it has the CDL.

Thanks, Scott
