I got this battery from the dealer and it looks like it will just BARELY fit into the compartment. It is a lot longer than the original unit.

To those that have made the change; is that your experience?

It fit no problem on my RRS, brackets, pressure relief hose and all. There is enough extra clearance in the back of the battery well to fit the additional inch or two of width. The exact match for the OEM would have been a MTP-H7, but the H8 has better numbers.

Hmmm....thanks Umberto. Maybe once I get it down into the actual compartment it will fit fine; it was just hanging up on the rubber lip around the hood compartment to the point where I ceased trying and wanted to double-check that it was the right unit. Then I ran out of time. I'll have to give it another try when I have a chance.
